I am writing in support of Joe Lazzerini's candidacy for Ward 1 City Council. Both he and Sheri came to my house to talk about their candidacy. However with Joe I didn't just get a sales pitch of promises, negative campaigning, or focus on one issue (the cell tower affecting South Attleboro residence). What I got in our hour plus discussion was an honest candidate who seems to be genuinly concerned about the residents of his community. He brought many issues facing the residents of South Attleboro (e.g South Attlebor Fire Dept operating on part time bases) to my attentions.

The residents of South Attleboro needs someone like Joe who will address the issues, side with the residents and fight for the welfare and rights of South Attleboro. Joe has already started to work hard for and with South Attleboro residents on an appeal for their cell Tower battle as well as helping to pass an ordinace to see that other Attleboro residents are not impacted. This is exactly the type of council person we need -- someone who's primary interest is the people who he serves and not furthering his political career. Joe will bring a fresh new prespective to the City Council and a voice who isn't afraid to fight for what is right--no matter the political consequences!

I support Joe Lazzerini because he is a very motivated young man that listens to the citizens of Attleboro and wants to help with the issues that matter. I am happy that Joe is against the proposed cell tower that has been approved for 304 Highland Ave. at the Knights of Columbus parking lot. We need an ordinance of at least 500 ft away from any resident similar to the one that exists in North Attleboro. Joe will help us with this as well as other important issues such as the SA Fire Department's only ambulance operates on a split shift basis.On November 3 I am urging a vote to move Ward 1 forward - Go For Joe!"

I want to express my support for Joe Lazzerni for the Ward 1 City Council race. I to this moment, do not know what party Joe is affiliated with. But,I will tell you this. Upon meeting Joe,you can feel,sense,his affection for our ward. I see a bright eyed, ready to answer all questions, type of man..I am leary,without knowing the woman,his oppenent,Mrs.Felos. First off, she is endorsed by a man, who was a shadow of a Representative, Mr.Michael Sullivan. I have resided in S.Attleboro for 15 years now. When I called Carolyn Tedino, she responded back immediately.I later had an issue,several years later,and tried on several occasions to contact Mr.Sullivan.I finally had to reach out to the Sun Chronicle for help.I just know that Joe will REPRESENT the people of his ward better. Mrs.Felos, you should not of wanted to be endorsed by a shadow of a representative, like Mr.Sullivan.Secondly,being a lawyer is certainly something to be proud of. But, many are not happy with lawyers becoming politicians, just as a SECOND occupation.I ask all my friends here in S.Attleboro, to vote for Joe Lazzerini, next Tuesday, as if you have meet him, will KNOW that he will put all of his voters first, and will always return a phone call. Please do as I do. Don't look at the party affiliation,but at the ideas and desires of the candidates.Go For Joe on November 3.

I have had the opportunity to work with Joe Lazzerini in the Army as a fellow soldier. I learned quickly that Joe is a hard worker, and once he commits to something he is in it for the long haul. Joe learns quickly and has common sense. He is going to work hard as a City Councilor for Attleboro's veterans and soldiers who are overseas, and I know that he will represent us in a smart and responsible way. Joe is knowledgeable about so many issues facing the Attleboro community, and has researched those issues thoroughly. One thing I look for when I vote is a candidate's military service, and Joe has that. He is committed to our country and he is committed to Attleboro.
