He's got the outlook Ward 1 voters need
When I was considering which candidate for city council in Ward 1, I knew there is one clear choice. I want a candidate who will fight for public safety and be willing to set goals and not be rubber stamp. I am supporting Joe Lazzerini for city councilor. I first met Joe when he knocked on my door, talking with him I found Joe to be knowledgeable, articulate and motivated to help the people of our city. We discussed the problems with the cell phone tower, and the issue of restoring Rescue 2 to full time status.
Restoring Rescue 2 (the ambulance) to full time status is important, and I give Joe a lot of credit for acknowledging that we may not get restoration funding quickly. That being said, just because we will not get more funds tomorrow does not mean we should just give up. Joe is going to keep up advocating for these funds and understands the tough times ahead. That's the kind of attitude that I think makes a good city councilor, knowing the situation and your limits but not refusing to continue on for your constituents.
That is why I am supporting Joe Lazzerini for city council, and I hope you will support him next Tuesday.

This candidate knows how to get things done
I am writing in support of Joe Lazzerini, candidate for Ward 1 city council. I have known Joe for four years and have always been impressed by his commitment and passion for helping his community. He had been organizing fundraisers and planning community clean-ups long before I met him. While he may lack "life experience," he certainly does not lack the knowledge of how to make things happen and is a wonderful example of how one person can truly make a difference when they make up their mind to do so. Joe is not your typical teenager and comparing him to other 18-year-olds does not do him justice.
Age aside, Joe is open minded, non-judgmental and willing to listen, qualities often lacking in government these days. He will focus on our needs as a community. I am proud to vote for Joe Lazzerini on Nov. 3.

I'll cross party line for this candidate
Joseph Lazzerini has this Republican's support for Ward 1. Anyone whom knows Joe knows that his passion is for serving the people of this city. Joseph has a proven record of accomplishment of community involvement, being involved in attending and when appropriate speaking at city council meetings.
I and a few other Republicans are supporting him because of his previous efforts, desires, optimistic outlook, and explicit ethical values. At the end of the day, I know that many votes will be cast not because of party affiliation, but because Joseph Lazzerini has demonstrated the fortitude we all command in our representatives.

What if cell phone tower fell in South Attleboro?
I am writing in support of Joe Lazzerini for Ward 1 City Councilor.
In the Ward 1 race we have the opportunity to elect a city council representative who is going to listen. Someone who will support his neighbors and constantly fight for the people of Ward 1. I am impressed with one candidate: Joe Lazzerini makes effective choices.
On the cell tower issue, it had nothing to do with research, it is a safety risk. If the proposed tower is to fall it would land on a resident's home on Ashford Lane. I'm going to vote for Joe because he thinks about us first. He thinks about public safety and he's earned the public's trust. Please vote for Mr. Lazzerini on Nov. 3.

He's shown devotion to solving problems
To the editor:
My son Joe Lazzerini is running for Ward 1 city council and I ask you to support him. My son had to earn my vote just like he is going to earn yours on Nov. 3.
My son has always been an active member of the community. When he was 10 he went out to raise money after seeing an animal control officer on TV talking about the shelter and its needs. He raised a little over $100. Two years later he started a non-profit organization to raise money for cancer research and got his friends involved in the community.
My son has always cared about the environment and that's why he has organized community cleanups in South Attleboro. Joe also received the 2006 Community Excellence Award for his work with people with disabilities through the Arc of Northern Bristol County.
When he told me he wanted to run for city council, like any parent would, I asked him why and we talked in detail about all of his community service efforts to date and what he would like to accomplish for our community.
My son knows what real public service is and he has always been a strong and engaged listener; as a councilor I know we can count on him to listen to the taxpayers.
I am proud of my son and I am asking you to vote for Joe because I know that he will bring the same level of dedication and passion to the city council that he has committed to all of his endeavors to date. Go for Joe Tuesday, Nov. 3.

Put this hard worker on Attleboro council
To the editor:
My son Joe Lazzerini is a candidate for Ward 1 councilor and he is also in the Army Reserves. He has committed himself to running for office because he believes in public service and has a passion for working hard for our community. Joe has always been committed to service and the Army Reserves have strengthened his commitment.
The Reserves have strengthened his leadership skills and his ability to build consensus in order to reach shared goals. It has also taught him about listening and attention to detail. I know that if we elect Joe on Nov. 3, Ward 1 will have a city councilor who has already benefited greatly by serving our community and country. Joe is a listener; he's an effective communicator and he works hard to really dig into issues and gain a complete understanding of complicated problems.
The campaign he's run has been typical Joe - you've probably met him as he's energetically gone door to door asking for votes and listening to the concerns of his neighbors or seen him doing a visibility or attending city council meetings.
He's a hard worker and I have no doubt that he'll work just as hard on the council as he has on the campaign trail. Joe has proven to me he is up for the job and on Tuesday, Nov. 3, I hope you will join me and cast your ballot for Ward 1 city councilor for Joe Lazzerini.

Give fellow soldier your vote in city
I have had the opportunity to work with Joe Lazzerini in the Army as a fellow soldier. I learned quickly that Joe is a hard worker, and once he commits to something he is in it for the long haul.
Joe learns quickly and has common sense. He is going to work hard as a city councilor for Attleboro's veterans and soldiers who are overseas, and I know that he will represent us in a smart and responsible way.
Joe is knowledgeable about so many issues facing the Attleboro community, and has researched those issues thoroughly. One thing I look for when I vote is a candidate's military service, and Joe has that. He is committed to our country and he is committed to Attleboro. I am asking you to vote for a fellow soldier and a friend, Private Joe Lazzerini, on Nov. 3.
